The international leg of the 2020 WSOP $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship Main Event kicked off last Sunday on GGPoker.

Day 1A, the first of three starting flights, attracted 246 players, building a prize pool of $2.36 million. 62 players, representing 25% of the field, have survived to take a stack through to Day 2.

While 246 players for the initial flight is significantly lower than the turnout it usually gets, this year the WSOP Main Event is certainly unprecedented.
