The mystery bounty format has made its way to the French online poker market on Winamax.
The trendy format will make its debut in the operator’s flagship tournament, the Winamax Series, scheduled to run from September 4. Spanning the usual twelve days, the series promises €20 million in guaranteed prize money.
The series encompasses 211 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from €2 to €1000. The mystery bounty format, which has yet to run on Winamax, is well represented in the schedule, with the series’ main event to be played in this format along with more than two dozen tournaments.
PRO exclusively revealed that the French gaming giant was readying to launch the new game late last month after reviewing a document that appeared on the Spanish gambling regulatory site.
