Since launching in late March, WSOP MI has — mostly — been the smallest online poker room in Michigan regarding cash game traffic.
But despite launching online poker more than a year after rivals PokerStars MI and BetMGM Poker MI went live, WSOP MI is poised for growth and could overtake the others once Michigan regulators allow all three to offer multi-state poker.
WSOP MI Stuck in Third Place
WSOP MI became the third online poker room in Michigan when it launched on March 28. By that time, it had essentially given BetMGM Poker MI a head start of 12 full months in the market while PokerStars MI — which launched first, in January 2021 — got 14.
